Buying property in a foreign country is one of the most stressful transactions anyone makes — and the Portuguese market is full of traps for the foreign buyer: unlicensed agents, inflated commissions, outdated tax and visa information, and biased advice from people who profit from the sale.

ExpatPropertyHub exists to fix that. We verify every agent, mortgage broker and lawyer's licence before we introduce them to you. We keep our legal and tax guides dated and sourced. And we're free for the buyer — professionals pay us only when a lead converts, so our incentive is aligned with yours, not theirs.

  • Real-estate agents — AMI licence verified against the IMPIC public register and demonstrable English fluency at transaction level.
  • Mortgage brokers — Banco de Portugal authorisation as a registered credit intermediary.
  • Lawyers — registration verified with the Ordem dos Advogados (Portuguese Bar).
  • No unresolved consumer complaints and no undisclosed conflicts of interest.
