ExpatPropertyHub operates an online marketplace and informational directory connecting foreign buyers to vetted real-estate agents, mortgage brokers and lawyers in Portugal. ExpatPropertyHub is not a real-estate agency, does not carry out credit intermediation, and does not provide legal services.

3. Directory professionals

Listed real-estate agents hold an AMI licence issued by IMPIC. Mortgage brokers are credit intermediaries authorised by the Banco de Portugal. Lawyers are registered with the Ordem dos Advogados. Any service contract is formed directly between the user and the professional.

4. Consumer dispute resolution

In the event of a consumer dispute, the consumer may use an alternative consumer-dispute-resolution body. More information at www.consumidor.gov.pt. The EU online dispute resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
